He is feeling so much better. He finally was able to eat. But I think he is done with this place. I kinda am too!!
There is no doubt that this kid is loved. He has had all sorts of visitors, a huge sign from all the primary kids was delivered, gifts, and treats. We have played Legos, Lincoln logs, watched movies, UNO, puzzles, colored, battleship, jenga, and took walks around the halls.
I'm tired and worn out. Hopefully he will be discharged tomorrow. He is really crossing his fingers cause he wants to go to his pinewood derby.

*I love my family and friends. Everyone was so sweet to offer to help. My phone was blowing up. So many offers to help with the kids, bring dinner, bring me food, take tanner where he needed to be or just drop in at the Hospital. It really means a lot!!

*I love that Greyson cried for his "ma-hee" when it was time to go to bed. He really is a mommas boy.

*I had to crawl into Carson's bed that 1st night in the hospital. He was scared and couldn't go to sleep. Thank goodness for iPhones and white noise app!

*Laptops are nice too:)

*I can't sleep in hospitals. Not fun at all!!

*Carson is a brave boy and has a high pain tolerance. He will now have a story to tell. Oh and a cool scar too!!

*I know Carson has felt loved! And it all has to do with his family and friends. And I all I can say is "thank YOU".

Carson came home from school on Wednesday and said his stomach hurt. He ended up throwing up and I just thought he had the flu. Thursday he stayed home from school with a fever. He stopped throwing up and he was eating and drinking. Then he woke up today saying that his stomach still hurt. I finally asked him where and he pointed to his lower stomach on the right side. I made a couple phone calls and then decided to take him and get it all checked out. Well sure enough. He is having an appendectomy in the morning. He has been a trooper. He really doesn't want to be here though. And he felt better knowing that mom was going to be staying the night too. All I know is that we are really lucky cause we have the best family and friends EVER!! That's the truth!

Random iPhone pictures

This was what we found under our couch when we were looking for the remote to the t.v. No luck finding the remote though :(

Yard sale for Ruby. It was really hard to believe all the stuff that was there. And even more overwhelming the friends and family that were so nice to help, donate, spread the word, and just be there.

Some of the boy cousins and family dinner. There were trying out Connor's lie detector. And from what I hear it really does work.

He thinks he doesn't need a nap. I am grateful for the days that he does not fight it.

We have been drinking lots of smoothies over here since I got my new blender for Christmas.

Greyson's 2nd birthday

Greyson turned 2 on 12.29.11

We bought him a $4 truck from Walmart while we were shopping. He was with us. He was one happy boy. That was the easiest birthday gift ever.

That night we had cake and sang to him. We keep asking him how old he is and he just makes a noise that sounds like two.

If only we can get this kid to talk. Life would be a lot less frustrating for the both of us if we could only communicate with each other.

Twenty 12

I have big plans for 2012.
Well I seem to have big plans every year and I always seem to fail.

Here are some of the things I want to be better at this year:
* More dates with Brian.
* Stay on top of the laundry.
* Get every room organized. (ha!)
* Help out in the boys classroom.
* Print my last 3 years of my blog. (that is how long it has been on my list. see! great example of failure right there. )

We sat down and wrote all of our 2012 goals down. They are now hanging on our magnet board. Now we can see them all year long. This might help us. I hope so.
Here's to a better year!

Christmas 2011

Christmas morning we were up at 6:00. Tanner was so excited and woke us up at 2am but was told to go back to bed!! We ended up opening all the presents before we went to church.
Church was really nice. I kind of like having Christmas on a sunday.

Tanner got a r/c car, nike 6.0, clothes and a jacket, nerf gun, and a movie.

Carson got a bike from santa. He also got clothes, basketball shoes, a movie, pillow pet, a book, and legos.

Crew got a razor scooter from santa. He also got a r/c car, clothes, toy story guys, and kung fu panda 2.

Crew got a scooter, garbage truck toy and a shirt.

After church we loaded up the van and we were gone for the rest of the day. We went to dad and mom's house. Ate lunch and had our gift exchange. We also went to the park to play kickball. I love that we do this. It is so much fun with all the kids and we always have a good time.

Then we headed over to the Santiago's. We had dinner and exchanged gifts with them. Everyone was tired. And I am not going to lie.....I was grumpy. All I wanted to do was be home in my pajamas. Good thing we had the next day to relax!

December

We had a busy month. Things I want to remember:

Ward Christmas party. Greyson sat on Santa's lap and cried AGAIN! It was kinda funny.

I was called to be primary president. I am really scared and freaked out.

Parent teacher conferences. They were both good and are both doing very well. I was happy.

Lots of christmas activities to keep us busy. Baking, caroling, work Christmas party, cousin gingerbread party, and a trip to springs preserve.

I did not take any pictures. This is something I am working on being better at.

Now that Christmas is over I feel the need of putting everything away.

Carson's baptism

Wow! I have some catching up to do.
Carson was baptized on 12.10.11
It was a nice day. He had a lot of friends and family that came to support him. Nana Jean gave a talk on baptism. Dad baptized and confirmed him. Then we had lunch at our house. I didn't take one picture. I need to be better about that. He had such a nice day. He even wrote about it that night in his journal. I love that kid!!
